Why Save the Date exists.

In Cairo and Alexandria, the right venue on the right night is booked months ahead. And when plans change — a postponement, a move abroad, a family decision — the deposit usually stays with the venue, and the date often goes unused.

At the same time, another couple is calling every hall from New Cairo and Zayed to San Stefano, hearing “fully booked” for the month they wanted.

Save the Date puts those two couples in touch. It’s a simple, free place to pass a date on — recover part of what you paid, or give it to someone who’ll use it well.

We’re a small Egyptian team, starting small on purpose. We review every listing ourselves, we never handle money, and we read every message.

A note from the founder

Save the Date is new, and small on purpose. I review every listing myself before it goes live, I read every message, and we will never ask you for money. If something doesn’t feel right, tell me directly on Instagram.
